Learn more about this collection

Our matric dance shoes are chosen to be stable enough to turn without thinking about it, elegant enough to suit your dress and comfortable enough to keep dancing all evening. If you are looking for matric dance shoes for ladies, every style comes with a heel of 3 to 6.5 cm, light colour options and a secure fit for your first dance.

How we selected these styles

  • A moderate heel. Each style is available with a heel height of 3 to 6.5 cm. A 5 cm heel is a good compromise between elegance and stability; a small 3 to 4.5 cm heel is the most stable and remains elegant if you don't dance much in heels.
  • Light colours. Each style is available in at least one light colour: white, nude, beige, champagne, silver or gold.
  • Good support. Ankle strap, crossed straps, laces, elastic or Velcro, depending on the style: the shoe stays in place while you turn.
  • A sole suited to the dance floor. Suede, leather, flexible or rubber, depending on the style: the material is indicated on each product page. Suede glides well on parquet but should not be worn outdoors, while rubber provides more grip on slippery floors.

Our advice before the big day

First, try your shoes on at home on a clean floor: as long as you are unsure, you can return them within 30 days. Once you have made your choice, bring them to your dress fittings (the heel height helps determine the length), wear them for a little while each day at home and practice your first dance in them. Everything is explained in our guides:

Still unsure? Take our "Which dance shoes should I choose?" quiz and select "Wedding first dance", or browse all our shoes for dancing at your wedding, including higher heels.

Free delivery on orders over €50, 10% off and free delivery on two or more pairs (ideal for one pair for the ceremony and another for the evening), 30-day returns.

Which matric dance shoes for ladies are the most stable?

A small heel of 3 to 4.5 cm is the most stable option and still looks elegant. A 5 cm heel is a good compromise between elegance and stability. Look for an ankle strap, crossed straps, laces, elastic or Velcro so the shoe stays in place when you turn, and check the sole material on each product page.
