Learn more about this collection
Our dance shoes for narrow feet are designed to fit snugly around the foot, preventing it from slipping inside the shoe during turns. More than 30 styles for salsa, Latin dancing, ballroom dancing, and tango.
What matters when you have narrow feet
- Adjustable fastening: laces or buckle straps allow you to tighten the shoe to the exact size of your foot.
- An ankle strap: it holds the heel in place, which tends to slip out of the shoe when your foot is narrow.
- Half sizes: a narrow foot can easily fall between two sizes. Here, 9 styles are available in half sizes.
- A material that does not stretch too much: choose a fitted shoe when you try it on, rather than relying on wear to stretch it out.
Heels and materials
In this selection, the most common heel heights are 7.5 cm, 5.5 cm, and 6 cm, with 3.5 cm styles also available for practice. Satin, sequins, suede-effect material, or leather: black is the most popular colour, followed by nude, silver, and gold.
Sizes
Most styles are available in sizes 34 to 41 or 42, while some start at size 33. If you are between two sizes and have narrow feet, choose the smaller size and make sure your toes do not stick out: dance shoes should fit snugly.
Frequently asked questions
My foot slips inside my dance shoes. What should I do?
First, tighten the straps or laces. If your foot still slips, the shoe is probably too long: going down half a size often solves the problem. Write to us with your foot length in centimetres.
Laces or buckles for narrow feet?
Both work. Laces provide a snug fit across the entire instep, while buckles are quicker to adjust. The main thing is to be able to tighten the shoe without the strap creasing.
Our guide: choosing the right size for your dance shoes.
Unsure about the size? Measure your foot length in centimetres and write to us at contact@dansezo.fr: we will recommend the right size for the style you have chosen. See also our size guide.
