We launched Dansezo for one simple reason: a good pair of dance shoes makes all the difference, but models from major specialist brands can be a significant expense for many amateur dancers, especially for their first pair. Dansezo is an online store offering a wide selection of affordable dance shoes, most priced between €30 and €120, categorized by dance style, skill level, and foot shape. Here is what that means in practice, and what you can expect from us.
Our starting point
When you start salsa, tango, or ballroom dancing, you quickly discover that shoes are not just a minor detail. A suede sole allows you to pivot without straining your knees, a well-placed strap keeps your foot in place during turns, and a heel suited to your skill level helps you find your balance. With street shoes or sneakers, you progress more slowly and are more likely to get hurt.
The problem is when it comes time to buy your first pair. You may not yet know if you will still be dancing in a year, you may not know your ideal heel height, and the models from specialist brands require a budget that many would rather spend on classes. This is the gap Dansezo wants to bridge: offering shoes designed for dancing at a price that makes it possible to get started.
What we do, and what we do not do
We do not make our own shoes. We select models from partner manufacturers and present them so that you can easily compare them. Each product page details the sole, heel, and available sizes, so you know what you are buying before you order.
We prefer to be clear: Dansezo is a small store, not an established brand. Our job is to select, categorize, explain, and advise you, not to tell you a tall tale.
A catalog organized the way you dance
Rather than leaving you to search through a long list, we have organized the store around the questions you really ask yourself when choosing.
By dance style
Every dance has its own requirements. Salsa and bachata require shoes that turn easily and provide good ankle support. Tango prioritizes elegance and a close connection to the floor. Ballroom dancing distinguishes between models for standard and Latin dances. You will find collections for salsa, bachata, kizomba, tango, ballroom, Latin dance, classical, jazz, tap, cabaret, and country.
By skill level
A beginner does not need the same heel as a competitive dancer. The beginner dance shoes collection brings together easy-to-wear models, while other collections cater to intermediate, professional, and competitive dancers.
By foot shape
Wide feet, narrow feet, bunions, very small or very large sizes: these are often the situations that make purchasing difficult. We have therefore created dedicated collections, such as dance shoes for wide feet or large sizes.

Sizing advice
Ordering dance shoes without trying them on can be worrying, and that is understandable. Before placing your order, write to us at contact@dansezo.fr with the length of your foot in centimeters. A member of our team will reply to help you choose the right size for the model you are interested in. To measure correctly, follow our guide on choosing the right size for dance shoes.
Returns
If the pair does not suit you, you have 30 days after receipt to return it, provided it has not been worn outdoors and is in its original packaging. Return shipping costs remain your responsibility, unless there is a defect. We do not offer direct exchanges: you return the pair and then place a new order. For this reason, always try your shoes indoors on a clean surface.
Delivery
Delivery is free on orders of €50 or more in the five countries we serve. Allow approximately 8 to 12 business days between payment and receipt: for a gala, wedding, or competition, allow enough time to try on and break in the pair.
Guides to help you choose without making a mistake
A store is not always enough. Many of the same questions come up before purchase: what heel height, what material, how to care for a suede sole, what to do with wide feet. This is why we publish practical guides. To start, read how to choose dance shoes, then our guide on the budget for your first pair of dance shoes.
